Canceled optimism However, the upcoming meeting of the so-called “Shangri-La Dialogue”, scheduled for June 10-12, causes observers. This annual intergovernmental security forum involves the participation of representatives of the military departments of 28 states, including both the United States and China. For the defense ministers of both countries, the meeting will be the first since 2019, as the summit had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
